Client: Adams Holcomb LLP

Adams Holcomb LLPDLS handled branding including logo, stationery set, and related print pieces.

Background: A firm of litigators, Adams Holcomb is comprised of lawyers coming out of a larger firm in Washington, D.C. DLS handles several firms in the area; Adams Holcomb found this web site and contacted us after recognizing our work for other firms they knew.

Assignment: The new firm needed all branding materials: logo, stationery, web site, announcements and brochures.

Process: As a designer, I customarily look for patterns or similarities in the letterforms making up a customer's initials. Adams Holcomb anticipated this, sending us a .pdf of a napkin sketch with a rough version of the finished logo. We built on this to make one of the set of logos we presented.

Outcome: Rendered clean and angular, the logo went into print and as an animation on the firm's web site.

Designer: David Schiffer
