Here are collected samples of the best work we have done over the past several years. We have designed web sites since 1995, and have experience with print and corporate identity extending back even earlier. For current projects, go to our New Projects page. Or, review our work by market sector. See Marketing for Law Firms, Marketing for Non Profits, Marketing for Health Care, and Marketing for Industrial Companies.

Throughout this web site, the projects we've done for our clients are always reproduced with their permission. We think it shows they appreciate our work, and we appreciate their confidence. Read client testimonials here.

July 2009: Eric Baron Acupuncture

Eric Baron, M.S., L.Ac., Acupuncturist web site designed by DLS Design

DLS designed the web site for the acupuncture office of Eric Baron in a manner very similar to our traditional, western healthcare sites. This reflects the world view of its proprietor, and his instructions to us as we built the site. It consists of high-quality images of the office, as well as detailed explanations of the practice and philosophy. Visit the site at www.eric-baron.com

July 2009: Aikenhead Cipes & Supanich Gives DLS a Promotion

Aikenhead, Cipes & Supanich web site designed by DLS Design

DLS completed the new design for the law firm of Aikenhead, Cipes & Supanich, based in Los Angeles. ACS had been a maintenance client, where our job was to take care of an older web site. Being pleased with our services, the firm asked us to design a new site from scratch, now running at www.acslaw.net. If your firm just needs help with an existing web site, we are happy to oblige. If you're pleased with our services, we are more than willing to be promoted later on.

Kubli & Associates, P.C. web site designed by DLS Design

With offices in Maryland and Virginia, Kubli & Associates, P.C. is a boutique law firm that specializes in "whistleblower" cases, government and general litigation. The firm contacted DLS as via referral from another law firm whose site we recently designed. In putting together the project's design, we used a red-white-and-blue color vocabulary, softened with a second, lighter blue. At www.kubliandassociates.com

May 2009: Web Revamp with Brochure for Longstanding Client

Friedman, Levy & Goldfarb

DLS designed the first web site for firm then named Friedman, Levy & Goldfarb early in the decade. As the firm grew, it became evident a revamp was needed, which we happily completed this spring, at www.friedmanlevy.com. Pursuing a two pronged approach, the firm, now expanded to Friedman, Levy, Goldfarb, Weiner and Kresman PC, commissioned DLS to design a matching brochure. This compact, 3-panel setup has become our most requested format for law firms.

January 2009: DC Litigators Tap DLS for Branding, New Web Site

Adams Holcomb LLP

Adams Holcomb LLP handles complex litigation and antitrust matters. When planning the launch of their firm they tapped DLS to come up with their firm look and web site. Our logo for the firm takes as its starting point a cocktail napkin sketch from one of the lawyers, then applying some basic typographic principals and rendering electronically. Our output included a full stationery set -- letterhead, envelope and business card, as well as a firm announcement, labels, notepads, etc. And of course the firm web site at www.adamsholcomb.com

The Law Office of Kevin Mintzer, P.C.

The Law Office of Kevin Mintzer, P.C. represents employees, executives, professionals and small companies in employment and commercial matters. The design office of DLS Design services small to medium-size law firms and certain outstanding solos. So when we were hired to create the web site for Mr. Mintzer's new firm, it would seem to be a perfect match. We have delivered a simple and powerful presentation with an almost scholarly feel, and detailed information on cases and capabilities. At www.mintzerfirm.com

July 2008: White Plains Firm Gets Colorful Site

Pollock & Maguire

DLS designed this colorful, compact web site for the law firm of Pollock & Maguire, located in White Plains. Although located in Manhattan, DLS Design services a number of clients – law firms as well as other service businesses – all over the United States. DLS clients are located in the five boroughs of New York, Westchester County, Connecticut, as well as Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Texas and beyond. See Pollock & Maguire's site at www.pollock-maguire.com

The June Stern Family Foundation provides scholarships to teachers, and grants to schools, to help children with dyslexia. DLS presented a suite of logos ranging from figurative to typographic. The chosen logo consists of stylized versions of the letters j, s and f working off a common shape, and intertwined. The web site adds to our growing portfolio of educational web sites. At www.junesternfoundation.org

April 2008: How the West Was Won

August & Kabat

DLS Design broadens our geographical reach to the west coast, as we complete our re-design of the web site for Los Angeles law firm Russ August & Kabat. Handling litigation, finance, real estate and intellectual property, RAK lies along the continuum between “boutique” and “mega-firm”. DLS went counter to the blues of conventional law firm sites but kept, and rehabilitated, the firm's longstanding logo, believing that our customers don't have to sacrifice equity in a logo that has already built up recognition, especially if it can be improved. At www.raklaw.com

Gordon & Silber, PC

DLS custom-designed these law firm brochures to the requirements of our law firm clients. For Simon & Partners the brochure opens to a spread. Gordon & Silber, a larger firm, required a 12-page book, to accommodate its range of practices and short bios of about a dozen partners. Because we designed each firm's web site, the brochures strongly match the online presence. See www.simonlawyers.com and www.gordon-silber.com

Febuary 2007: Pino Brochure

Pino & Associates Brochure

DLS designed the new firm brochure for Pino & Associates, a law firm in Westchester County, NY. In designing the graphics DLS adopted themes from the firm's web site, but improved upon their logo and color scheme. Later in the year we took the same improvements and re-designed the site itself, at www.pinolaw.com. Looking to upgrade your brochure or web site? Call us at 212-255-3464.

August 2006: Slater & Beckerman, LLP

Slater & Beckerman, LLP

We designed this bright, catchy web site for Slater & Beckerman, LLP, a boutique firm practicing zoning law in New York City. The graphics are in the style of a famous painter of the twentieth century. To us, the painter's style always evoked a grid of city streets, a good graphical metaphor for the field of zoning law. At www.slaterbeckerman.com

Dorsey & Whitney, LLP

DLS designed this site for Dorsey & Whitney, LLP, an international law firm with over 600 lawyers, handling corporate law and litigation. The Gillen Brewer School The Gillen Brewer School Brochure

Read more about non-profit brochure design.

Located in New York City, The Gillen Brewer School educates young children with emotional and learning disabilities. In planning the design, DLS used mild, near-primary colors and sans serif fonts, including a childlike animation of the school's logo on the homepage. The GBS site is built to grow, with areas ready for content from a variety of departments and classes. At www.gillenbrewer.com

In March, 2006, we completed work on the school's brochure, and received the following testimonial:

"I am very pleased to enclose for your portfolio samples of our brand new brochures. They are wonderful and we cannot thank you enough for guiding us through the design process. Orans, Elsen & Lupert, LLP

Orans, Elsen & Lupert, LLP didn't need to shop around for the design of their sharp new web site — they just called DLS Design. OEL handles both civil and white-collar criminal litigation. Our design includes photography we shot of the firm's new location. The homepage is a simple Flash animation, with a backdrop of the firm's lobby, motion-blurred to convey a sense of movement.
